    A fun, relaxed night of a cappella music! Local a cappella groups will come together to perform for one another, get some performance practice, and listen to eachother. It’s a low-stakes, supportive environment to connect with other singers, socialize and share!

Who is THE DRAMA ?

“The Drama” was founded in October 2024 and is an a cappella group based in Madison, WI.

We are a casual, non-competitive ensemble where theatre and choir lovers come together to sing our hearts out and create something joyful, theatrical, and unique! Our group is for people who love creative expression, and a space to be dramatic.

​

We rehearse seasonally (spring/summer season and winter/fall season), choosing music that showcases a theme we've put together. Our rehearsals are filled with laughter, choreography experiments, creative debates and spontaneous bursts into songs.  Everyone has a voice (literally and figuratively) and is able to contribute their creative ideas. 

​

We may be a little biased, but we sound good. Catch us at our next performance and see (and hear) what we’ve been working on!
